I know I’m 10 days too late, but Happy New Year away!
I’ve just installed the ‘flickrpress’ plugin, so just testing how it works to include flickr photos in a wordpress post.
Enjoy this picture of the very cute Jenny.

Jenny likes to sit or lie next to me on the sofa. Here she is, looking all depressed…because a cat’s life is so stressful!
After sitting with me a while, she then proceeded to wedge herself under the sofa. I wasn’t sure at first what it was she was looking for…
…but eventually she emerged with one of the gray and red toy mice I bought for her, Sweep and Misty a little while ago. All the cats love them…during the day I often see one of them carrying a toy mouse around by it’s tail. So cute! ^_^
Jenny started to bounce this particular mouse around, so I tried to capture the moment. Fail – by the time I took the picture, it was earth bound.
Finally, a non-kitten related photo…this is the card I got for Michael’s birthday which was on monday…it’s special since it’s the first ‘husband’ birthday card I’ve ever bought. Awww. ♥

Jenny has a sore lip at the moment, which is making it slightly hard for her to eat.
She had something similar a while ago which needed antibiotics. I’m taking her to the vets tomorrow, so we’ll see what she needs this time. Troublesome (but adorable!) little cat.
Michael and I got our mobile phone upgrades a couple of months back. I moved from using a LG Shine (it was pink, and I loved it, but it was time for a change) to the Samsung Tocco Ultra, which (once I got used to the touch screen) I absolutely love. It takes pictures much better than my stand alone digital camera. Which doesn’t get used anymore because the Tocco is better!
Michael went from a Sony Walkman phone (I forget which model) to a Blackberry Bold. Michael had gone on and on for ages about wanting a Blackberry, so much so he almost had me wanting one. He finally got his wish.
Now I fear he is slighty addicted!

Exhibit A – photographic evidence (taken with my Tocco, of course!) of Michael in Wagamama’s. Using his Blackberry. Instead of conversing with his wife!
I would never deny my love of his favourite gadget, but perhaps I should consider banning it at mealtimes!
